Using cable television services without a subscription is an offence under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and in the event of procecution may lead to a fine of upto £5000.
Wrights Radio Relay are now looking for people who use the service without paying, and are carrying out disconnections and regular inspections of their equipment and will bring criminal procedings against anyone they find repeatedly using the service without payment.
